Areas We Support

Speech and language delays can make everyday moments harder for a child and more stressful for parents. A child may have trouble using words, understanding directions, answering questions, combining phrases, or communicating clearly enough for others to understand. Therapy Clubhouse helps children build communication step by step through pediatric speech therapy that feels natural, encouraging, and connected to real life. Our goal is to help children express themselves with more confidence at home, in school, and in the community.

Some children become overwhelmed by sounds, textures, movement, clothing, grooming, or busy environments, while others seek constant motion, pressure, climbing, or sensory input. These sensory differences can affect transitions, meals, play, sleep routines, school participation, and family outings. Therapy Clubhouse provides pediatric occupational therapy that helps families understand their child’s sensory needs and build practical strategies for regulation. We focus on helping children feel safer, calmer, and more comfortable moving through everyday routines.

Motor delays can affect how a child plays, moves, explores, uses their hands, and participates in daily activities. Fine motor challenges may show up during grasping, drawing, dressing, or using classroom tools, while gross motor coordination concerns may affect balance, posture, body awareness, or confidence during play. Therapy Clubhouse supports these skills through pediatric occupational therapy that targets functional movement, coordination, and participation. We help children build the strength, control, and confidence they need for age-appropriate routines.

School readiness involves more than academic knowledge. Children also need communication skills, fine motor control, attention, social participation, self-regulation, and the ability to follow routines. Therapy Clubhouse supports children as they prepare for preschool, kindergarten, and classroom participation through speech therapy and occupational therapy tailored to developmental needs. We help children build the foundation for learning so they can participate with more confidence, independence, and success.

Early childhood developmental delays can affect communication, movement, play, sensory regulation, and daily routines. Therapy Clubhouse provides Early Start support through Tri-Counties Regional Center for young children who need speech therapy, occupational therapy, or both. Families often come to us during a time of uncertainty, and our role is to make the process feel clearer. We help children build meaningful skills early while giving parents practical guidance they can use at home.

How We Help

Children and Families We Serve

Therapy Clubhouse works with children at different stages of development, from babies receiving Early Intervention services to teens who need support with communication, regulation, school participation, or daily living skills. Every family comes with a different story, and every child brings their own strengths, challenges, personality, and pace. Our role is to meet children where they are, help parents understand what support may look like, and create therapy goals that fit real life at home, in school, and in the community.

Infants & Toddlers 0–3 Early Intervention

The earliest years can bring a lot of questions for parents, especially when a child is not communicating, moving, playing, or participating in routines as expected. Therapy Clubhouse supports infants and toddlers through Early Intervention and Early Start speech therapy and occupational therapy, including services connected through Tri-Counties Regional Center. At this age, therapy often focuses on helping children engage, explore, communicate, tolerate daily routines, and build foundational skills in ways that feel natural and family-centered.

Preschoolers 3–5

Preschool years often reveal new needs because children are communicating more, playing with peers, following group routines, and preparing for more structured learning. Some preschoolers need help with speech clarity, language development, sensory regulation, fine motor skills, transitions, or early classroom participation. Therapy Clubhouse helps children build these skills in a way that still honors their age, curiosity, and need for play. We focus on practical progress that supports confidence before school expectations become more demanding.

School-Age Children and Teens 6-18

School-age children and teens may need therapy for challenges that affect learning, communication, independence, peer relationships, or daily routines. A child may struggle with articulation, language organization, fluency, social communication, handwriting, sensory regulation, executive functioning support, or self-care skills. Therapy Clubhouse provides pediatric speech therapy and occupational therapy that respects the child’s age and growing independence. Older children need support that feels useful, not babyish, and therapy should help them carry skills into school, home, friendships, and everyday responsibilities.

Thoughtful Care

Our Approach to Pediatric Therapy

Therapy Clubhouse believes pediatric therapy should feel clear, supportive, and connected to a child’s real life. Families come to us with questions about communication, sensory needs, daily routines, school readiness, or developmental progress, and they deserve care that feels both clinically thoughtful and easy to understand. Our approach combines pediatric speech therapy, pediatric occupational therapy, parent guidance, and practical goals that help children build skills they can use at home, in school, and throughout the Westlake Village and Conejo Valley community.

Parents are not outside observers in the therapy process. They are part of the team. Therapy Clubhouse takes time to understand each family’s concerns, routines, priorities, and hopes for their child, then uses that insight to shape therapy in a way that feels realistic. We want parents to leave sessions with a clearer understanding of what their child is working on and how to support progress during everyday moments, not just during appointments.

Children learn best when they feel safe, engaged, and motivated, which is why therapy at Therapy Clubhouse is purposeful without feeling rigid. Our therapists use evidence-informed strategies through play, movement, interaction, and child-led connection so each session supports real developmental growth. A child may think they are playing with toys, moving through an activity, or joining a game, but the therapist is carefully targeting communication, regulation, coordination, participation, fine motor skills, or daily functional goals.

No two children arrive with the same strengths, challenges, or pace of progress. Therapy Clubhouse creates individualized treatment plans based on the child’s developmental needs, family priorities, therapy setting, and everyday routines. We avoid generic therapy because children need goals that actually fit their lives. A strong plan should help families understand where therapy is going, what progress may look like, and how each session connects to the skills their child needs most.

Children often have more than one support system, and therapy works better when those systems communicate. Therapy Clubhouse collaborates with pediatricians, schools, Tri-Counties Regional Center, and caregivers when appropriate so children receive more consistent support across settings. This helps families avoid feeling like they have to manage every detail alone. Our team works to keep therapy aligned, practical, and focused on helping each child participate more confidently in daily life.

Flexible Options That Fit Your Family

Whether your child benefits most from familiar home routines, the flexibility of virtual sessions, or the structured clinic environment opening in Fall 2026, our goal is to make therapy feel accessible, consistent, and realistic for day-to-day life.

Therapy Clubhouse is opening a thoughtfully designed pediatric therapy clinic in Westlake Village, built from the ground up for the way children actually learn: a dedicated sensory gym for swinging, climbing, and crashing safely; bright, calm treatment rooms for speech work; and a comfortable parent lounge, because this journey is yours too.
