Feeding Therapy Support & Referrals for Children

Feeding Therapy

Therapy Clubhouse focuses on pediatric speech-language therapy and occupational therapy, and we do not currently provide feeding therapy in-house. Because feeding challenges deserve specialized care, we partner with a trusted network of experienced pediatric feeding therapists and are glad to connect your family with the right expert — and we plan to offer feeding services directly in the future. We want to be straightforward about that, because if your child is struggling with eating, you deserve the right specialist rather than a service that is not the right fit. We are always glad to point families toward a trusted pediatric feeding specialist, and if your child also needs speech or occupational therapy, we can help with that part directly.

This page is here to give you genuinely useful information about feeding therapy, what it is, who it helps, and how to take the next step, so that even though we are not the provider, you leave with a clearer sense of where to go.

What Feeding Therapy Is and Who It Helps

Feeding therapy is specialized support for children who have difficulty with eating and drinking. It is provided by professionals with specific training in feeding, and it addresses the many reasons a child might struggle at mealtimes, from how they handle different textures, to oral-motor coordination, to the sensory and behavioral sides of eating. It is a distinct area of practice with its own expertise.

Feeding therapy can help children who are extremely selective eaters, who have trouble moving from purees to table foods, who gag or struggle with certain textures, or who find mealtimes stressful and overwhelming. The goal is to help eating become safer, more comfortable, and less stressful for the whole family.

How Therapy Clubhouse Can Point You in the Right Direction

Even though we do not offer feeding therapy, we do not want to leave you without a next step. We are glad to help families find a trusted pediatric feeding specialist, so you are not navigating an unfamiliar search alone while also worrying about your child.

And if feeding is not the only thing on your mind, we may be able to help directly with the rest. Many children who struggle with eating also have related needs in communication or in motor and sensory skills. Therapy Clubhouse provides pediatric speech-language therapy and occupational therapy for children from birth to 18, in your home and through telehealth across Ventura County and west Los Angeles County, with a clinic opening in Westlake Village in Fall 2026, and we are a Tri-Counties Regional Center Early Start vendor for in-person early intervention from birth to three. We will always be clear about what we do and do not provide, so you can trust where we point you.
