Cancellation Policy

Effective Date: June 11, 2026

Consistent sessions are how children make progress — and open appointment times are how other families get care. This policy explains how cancellations and missed visits work at Therapy Clubhouse.

Canceling or Rescheduling

Please give us at least 24 hours’ notice when you need to cancel or reschedule a session. Call or text (805) 702-3427 or email info@therapyclubhouse.com and we will find a new time that works for your family.

Late Cancellations and No-Shows

Cancellations with less than 24 hours’ notice and missed appointments without notice may be subject to a late-cancellation fee, which is not billable to insurance or the Regional Center. Repeated missed sessions may affect your child’s standing appointment time.

Illness

Please keep your child home if they are sick — illness cancellations are never penalized when you let us know as soon as you can. In many cases we can convert an in-home session to telehealth so your child keeps momentum without spreading germs.

If We Cancel

If your therapist is ill or unavailable, we will notify you as early as possible and offer a make-up session or telehealth alternative at no cost to you.
