Speech Sound Mastery
Help your child produce sounds clearly and confidently through play-based therapy techniques.
Learn MoreChoosing a pediatric therapist is a personal decision, and families across Ventura County and west Los Angeles County choose Therapy Clubhouse because of how we work: warm, play-based speech and occupational therapy that comes to your home and includes you in every session. We were founded by two clinicians who are also mothers — Nita Anavim, M.S., CCC-SLP and Rachel Yashouafar, MA, OTR/L — and we built the kind of practice we would want for our own children.
We provide in-home and telehealth therapy so your child learns and practices new skills in the place they are most comfortable — no commute, no crowded waiting room, and no long waitlist. For many young children, working at home is where progress sticks. A clinic in Westlake Village opens in Fall 2026 for families who prefer an in-clinic option.
Therapy Clubhouse serves families in Westlake Village and nearby Southern California communities through pediatric speech therapy, occupational therapy, Early Intervention support, in-home therapy, telehealth, and clinic-based care.

Therapy Clubhouse is a contracted Tri-Counties Regional Center vendor for Early Start and Early Intervention, delivered in person for children from birth to three. It is a pathway few local practices offer, and if your child qualifies, you can request us by name through your service coordinator.
Your child works with seasoned professionals, not rotating staff. Care is led by a certified speech-language pathologist (M.S., CCC-SLP) and a licensed occupational therapist (MA, OTR/L) with advanced training in sensory integration. Our approach is play-based, individualized, and grounded in each child's real goals — and we explain everything in plain language so you always know what we are working on and why.
You are in the session, not the waiting room. We coach you with simple, doable strategies so the progress your child makes with us continues during everyday routines like meals, play, and bedtime.
Developmental and communication differences are a common part of childhood. The U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) reports that about 1 in 6 children ages 3–17 (17.3%) has a developmental disability, and nearly 1 in 12 (7.7%) has a disorder related to voice, speech, language, or swallowing. The CDC’s most recent data identify about 1 in 31 eight-year-olds (3.2%) with autism spectrum disorder, while the National Institute on Deafness and Other Communication Disorders reports that 5–10% of children stutter and speech sound disorders affect 8–9% of young children. Across all of these areas, early speech and occupational therapy give children the best opportunity to build skills during the years when development moves fastest.
