Early Intervention

Early Intervention Speech and OT for Infants and Toddlers (Birth–3)

The first few years of a child’s life can bring a mix of excitement, uncertainty, and a lot of questions. We get it. Some children begin talking later than expected…others struggle with transitions, play, or everyday routines that seem easier for other kids their age. Parents often sense something feels harder than it should, even if they cannot fully explain why yet. Therapy Clubhouse provides Early Intervention speech therapy and occupational therapy for infants and toddlers throughout Westlake Village, Ventura County, the Conejo Valley, and nearby Los Angeles County communities. Our goal is to help families feel supported early instead of waiting for concerns to grow larger over time. This is a big deal to us. One of the biggest things that makes Therapy Clubhouse different is our connection with Tri-Counties Regional Center for Early Start and Early Intervention services. So many families come to us after a referral or developmental evaluation. For parents entering this process for the first time, it can feel unfamiliar and carry a lot of emotional weight. We work hard to make those next steps feel calmer and easier to understand. Therapy Clubhouse is also a pediatric-only practice. Everything we do is built around children and families. We provide speech therapy and occupational therapy for kids ages 0 to 18 and focus only on pediatric care. That focus shapes how we communicate with parents, how we structure sessions, and how we help children feel comfortable from the very beginning. Call (805) 702-3427 today to schedule an Early Intervention evaluation. We’d love to help.

Early Start Services Through Tri-Counties Regional Center

Early Start services are designed for infants and toddlers who may benefit from extra developmental support during the earliest years of life. Some children need help building communication skills. Others may have difficulty participating in play, adjusting to routines, or responding comfortably to sensory experiences throughout the day. Therapy Clubhouse provides Early Intervention speech therapy and occupational therapy through Tri-Counties Regional Center for children who qualify for services. Many parents begin this process after hearing concerns from a pediatrician, completing a developmental screening, or simply trusting their instincts that something feels off. That period can feel overwhelming because families are often introduced to new terms, evaluations, and recommendations all at once. Therapy Clubhouse helps break the process into manageable steps so families feel more supported and less lost. We also understand that early therapy is not just about what happens during a scheduled session. Young children learn through relationships and repeated experiences during ordinary routines at home. Because of that, our therapists focus on helping families feel confident supporting their child during the moments that already shape daily life. In-Home Occupational Therapy For Kids

Why Families Choose Therapy Clubhouse for Speech and Occupational Therapy in Los Angeles County

Pediatric Speech Therapy for Early Communication Development

Communication develops differently for every child. Some toddlers use only a few words while others become frustrated because they cannot express themselves clearly. A child may struggle to follow simple directions or have difficulty engaging during play and interaction. Therapy Clubhouse provides pediatric speech therapy that helps children build communication skills in ways that feel natural and connected to everyday life. Our therapists look beyond vocabulary alone. We pay attention to how children interact with caregivers, respond during routines, imitate sounds, use gestures, and participate socially throughout the day. This gives us a better understanding of how communication is developing overall rather than focusing only on milestone charts or word counts. Sessions are designed to feel interactive and engaging instead of rigid or overly clinical. Children may build communication through play, songs, movement, books, or familiar routines that already feel meaningful to them. That approach helps therapy feel more comfortable while still supporting real developmental progress.

Pediatric Occupational Therapy for Infants and Toddlers

Occupational therapy helps young children participate more comfortably in everyday life. Some children become overwhelmed during transitions or struggle with sensory experiences that seem manageable for other kids their age. Others may have trouble using their hands during play, sitting for meals, or participating in routines without frustration. Therapy Clubhouse provides pediatric occupational therapy for infants and toddlers who need support building these foundational skills. Our therapists look carefully at how children move through their daily environments. We pay attention to how they respond during play, how they handle changes in routine, and how they engage with caregivers throughout the day. That full-picture approach helps us create therapy goals that feel practical instead of disconnected from family life. Occupational therapy at this age should feel playful and supportive. Children learn best through movement, interaction, repetition, and connection. Therapy Clubhouse builds sessions around those experiences so children can strengthen skills while still feeling safe and engaged.
