Free Parent Consultation
A free parent consultation is a no-cost, no-pressure phone or video call with Therapy Clubhouse. We talk through what you are noticing with your child, answer your questions, and help you decide whether a speech or occupational therapy evaluation makes sense, and whether in-home, telehealth, or Early Start through the regional center is the right fit for your family.
Call or text (805) 702-3427
Or send a message through our contact form
We will set up a time that works for your family, including evenings and weekends when available.
What to expect on the call
There is no obligation and no pressure to move forward.
We start by listening
You tell us what you are seeing, whether it is talking, understanding, motor skills, sensory sensitivities, or everyday routines that feel harder than they should.
We explain your options
We explain how we work, what an evaluation involves, and the options available to you, from in-home and telehealth sessions to Early Start funding, and we answer every question.
You decide what is next
If it makes sense, we schedule an evaluation and build a plan with clear goals. If therapy is not the right next step, we will tell you honestly and point you in the right direction.
Who a consultation is for
It is for any parent wondering whether their child needs support, or who simply wants to talk to a professional before deciding what to do next. It is also a good first step if you have questions about Early Start and the Tri-Counties Regional Center, since we are a vendored Early Start provider and can explain how early intervention works for children birth to three.
You will talk with an experienced clinician
Therapy Clubhouse was founded by Nita Anavim, M.S., CCC-SLP and Rachel Yashouafar, MA, OTR/L, two experienced clinicians who are also mothers. Your consultation is a real conversation about your child, and everything is explained in plain language.
