Los Angeles County is enormous, and finding pediatric therapy that comes to you, instead of another cross-town commute with a tired, dysregulated child, can feel impossible. Therapy Clubhouse provides pediatric speech-language therapy and occupational therapy for children from birth through age 18 in the Conejo Valley and nearby Los Angeles County communities, through in-home visits and telehealth today, with a Westlake Village clinic, right on the LA/Ventura County line, opening on December 1, 2026. Every family starts with a free 15-minute consultation with a licensed speech or occupational therapist: no obligation, just answers.
As of October 2026, in-home and telehealth families can expect an evaluation within 3 business days of the free call. A first session can be as soon as 5 days after calling. On request, an evaluation can be done in a private office on Townsgate Road in Westlake Village.
Which Los Angeles County areas do you serve?
In Los Angeles County we visit homes and schools from Calabasas, Agoura Hills and Hidden Hills across much of the San Fernando Valley to Burbank, and on the Westside from Malibu and Santa Monica to Beverly Hills and West Hollywood. In-home visits bring therapy into your child’s real routines; telehealth adds reach and flexibility across LA County.
What can speech and occupational therapy help my child with?
Speech and occupational therapy help with late talking, unclear speech, stuttering, handwriting, sensory needs and daily routines. Speech therapy supports late talking, unclear speech, stuttering, apraxia, social communication, and AAC for minimally speaking children. Occupational therapy supports handwriting, fine-motor and sensory skills, self-regulation, coordination, and daily independence. When a child needs both, we combine them in one coordinated plan.
Does in-home and telehealth therapy really work?
Yes, for many goals, telehealth is as effective as in-person for speech, language, and parent coaching, and in-home sessions are powerful because children practice new skills where they actually live. For hands-on occupational therapy, we’ll tell you honestly when in-person is the better fit. The point is meeting your child where they’re most comfortable.
Is the consultation free, and what’s the difference from an evaluation?
Yes, the consultation is free, and it is not the same as an evaluation. The 15-minute consultation is genuinely free and comes with no obligation, a conversation with a licensed therapist to answer your questions and suggest a next step. It is not an evaluation. If therapy is a fit, the next step is a comprehensive, play-based evaluation (insurance can be used through Village, or pay privately with a superbill for possible reimbursement) that maps your child’s strengths and needs. No diagnosis is required to begin.
What if my child is under 3?
Early intervention is coordinated by regional centers based on where you live; families near the Ventura County line may qualify for Early Start through Tri-Counties Regional Center (TCRC), where Therapy Clubhouse is a vendored provider. Early support makes the most of the fastest years of development, about 1 in 6 children ages 3 to 17 has a developmental disability (CDC). Here’s how Early Start works.

Reach out as soon as you notice a concern, because sooner is easier than later. If a worry has stuck around more than a few weeks, a free consultation either reassures you or gets support going while your child’s brain is most adaptable. If a concern could be medical, such as possible hearing loss, start with your pediatrician and we’ll work alongside them.
Therapy Clubhouse was founded by two licensed pediatric clinicians and mothers, Nita Anavim, M.S., CCC-SLP, and Rachel Yashouafar, MA, OTR/L (USC-trained, certified in sensory integration).

Right now, therapy happens at home for families in our home-visit area, or by telehealth. In-home sessions let your child practice new skills in the rooms where they already play, eat, dress, and do homework. Telehealth is available when that fits your schedule better. Our Westlake Village clinic opens on December 1, 2026, adding a clinic option for Los Angeles County families who would rather come to us.
