Speech Sound Mastery
Help your child produce sounds clearly and confidently through play-based therapy techniques.
Learn MoreYour Agoura Hills preschooler lights up at home but goes quiet at circle time, or the teacher gently asks whether you’ve “thought about getting speech looked at.” That flicker of worry is worth honoring. Therapy Clubhouse provides pediatric speech-language therapy and occupational therapy for Agoura Hills children from birth through age 18, in your home or by telehealth today, with our clinic opening minutes away in Westlake Village on November 1, 2026. Every family starts with a free 15-minute consultation with a licensed speech or occupational therapist: no obligation, just answers.
Speech therapy helps with late talking, unclear speech, stuttering, apraxia, social communication, and AAC for children who are minimally speaking. Occupational therapy helps with handwriting, fine-motor skills, sensory processing and self-regulation, coordination, and daily-living tasks like dressing and utensils. When a child needs both, we combine them in one coordinated plan so you’re not juggling providers.
Trust what you notice: few words by age two, speech strangers can’t understand by three, a fight over handwriting, big reactions to sound or textures, or lost skills. You don’t need a diagnosis to ask, and noticing early is a strength, not an overreaction. The NIDCD notes 8 to 9% of young children have a speech sound disorder, these differences are common and very workable.
Both. In-home visits and telehealth are available across Agoura Hills today, and because our new clinic opens just next door in Westlake Village on November 1, 2026, in-clinic care will be especially easy for Agoura Hills and Las Virgenes families. In-home sessions let your child practice in the routines where they actually get stuck.
Yes. The 15-minute consultation is genuinely free and comes with no obligation, a conversation with a licensed therapist to answer your questions and suggest a next step. It is not an evaluation. If therapy is a fit, the next step is a comprehensive, play-based evaluation (we are private pay and out of network, and we provide superbills you can submit for possible reimbursement) that maps your child’s strengths and needs. No diagnosis is required to begin.
Yes. Private therapy works alongside school services. Our occupational therapist has years of school-based experience and knows the IEP process, and private one-on-one sessions are more frequent and individualized than most school support. Many Agoura Hills families use both together.
Children from birth to 36 months may qualify for Early Start through Tri-Counties Regional Center (TCRC), and Therapy Clubhouse is a vendored TCRC provider. Because the earliest years are when development moves fastest, about 1 in 6 children ages 3 to 17 has a developmental disability (CDC), starting early opens more doors. Here’s how Early Start works.
Therapy Clubhouse serves families in Westlake Village and nearby Southern California communities through pediatric speech therapy, occupational therapy, Early Intervention support, in-home therapy, telehealth, and clinic-based care.

We work with families across Agoura Hills and Calabasas, Oak Park, Hidden Hills, and Westlake Village.
Many Agoura Hills children attend schools in the Las Virgenes Unified School District. School based support and private therapy are not the same thing: school services are tied to how a child is doing in the educational setting and carry their own eligibility process, while private speech therapy and occupational therapy focuses on the goals you and your therapist set for your child. Plenty of families use both, and we are happy to coordinate with your school team when that helps.
In Los Angeles County, regional center areas are drawn by health district rather than by city, so the right regional center for Early Start depends on your specific address rather than your city name. If your child is under age 3 and you are not sure who to call first, reach out to us and we will point you to the correct regional center for where you live.
Right now we come to you. In-home sessions let your child practice new skills in the rooms where they already play, eat, dress, and do homework, which is often where families most want to see change. Telehealth is available when that fits your schedule better. Our Westlake Village clinic opens on November 1, 2026, adding a clinic option for Agoura Hills families who would rather come to us.
Questions about your own child in Agoura Hills? Call or text (805) 702-3427 and we will talk it through.
Prefer online sessions, or outside our in-person area? We provide online speech and occupational therapy across California, by live video, with no telehealth waitlist.
Some children need help learning to talk. Others need help with handwriting, coordination, or coping with noise and textures. Many need both. Therapy Clubhouse is led by Nita Anavim, M.S., CCC-SLP, and Rachel Yashouafar, MA, OTR/L, so a family who needs speech and occupational therapy can arrange both through one practice instead of managing two providers, two intake processes and two schedules.
The first step is a free 15-minute consultation with a licensed therapist. Call (805) 702-3427 or send a message.
Tell us what you are noticing about your child. A licensed therapist reads every message, not an assistant, and replies within one business day. The consultation is free, lasts about 15 minutes, and carries no obligation. There is no waiting list. If you would rather talk now, call (805) 702-3427.
