As a speech-language pathologist, Nita helps children build the skills behind communication — producing speech sounds clearly, understanding and using language, putting words and sentences together, and connecting socially with others. She works with children across a range of needs, from late talkers and articulation differences to language delays, stuttering, and social communication, always tailoring care to each child and family.
Nita believes therapy should feel supportive and encouraging, never cold or clinical. She partners closely with parents, explains things in plain language, and focuses on goals that matter in a child's everyday life — reflecting Therapy Clubhouse's mission of knowledgeable care that helps families feel understood and confident.
Choosing a licensed, certified speech-language pathologist means your child's care is grounded in evidence-based practice and professional standards. A qualified SLP can tell the difference between a typical phase and a difference that benefits from support, design an individualized plan, and measure progress responsibly — giving families clarity and peace of mind.
Families who work with Nita and the Therapy Clubhouse team can expect clear communication, individualized goals written in everyday language, and a collaborative approach that treats parents as partners. Care is available in-home and via telehealth across Westlake Village and Ventura County, and progress is tracked and shared so you always know how your child is doing.
