Rachel Yashouafar is a licensed occupational therapist and co-founder of Therapy Clubhouse. She works with infants, toddlers, children, and teens throughout Westlake Village, the Conejo Valley, and surrounding Ventura County communities — in the home, over telehealth, and (beginning Fall 2026) at the Westlake Village clinic. Rachel's approach is warm, practical, and grounded in how children actually live their days: getting dressed, handling transitions, playing with friends, managing big feelings, and keeping up at school. Therapy goals are built around real routines so progress shows up where it matters most — at home and in the classroom.Therapy Clubhouse serves families in Westlake Village and nearby Southern California communities through pediatric speech therapy, occupational therapy, Early Intervention support, in-home therapy, telehealth, and clinic-based care.

Rachel Yashouafar is a licensed and registered occupational therapist with Therapy Clubhouse. The letters “MA, OTR/L” mean she holds a master's degree in occupational therapy and is an Occupational Therapist, Registered and Licensed — having completed graduate education, supervised fieldwork, the national certification examination, and the state licensure required to practice.
As a pediatric occupational therapist, Rachel helps children build the everyday skills they need to play, learn, and care for themselves — fine and gross motor skills, handwriting, sensory processing, coordination, and self-care routines like dressing and feeding. She works with children across a range of needs and tailors each plan to the child's strengths, goals, and family life.
Rachel believes the best therapy looks and feels like play. She follows a child's interests, builds on what they do well, and turns everyday routines into opportunities for growth — reflecting Therapy Clubhouse's commitment to care that is knowledgeable, encouraging, and genuinely connected to real life.
Choosing a licensed, registered occupational therapist means your child's care is grounded in evidence-based practice and professional standards. A qualified OT can identify the underlying reasons a child struggles with daily tasks, design an individualized plan, and measure progress responsibly — giving families clarity and confidence.
Families who work with Rachel and the Therapy Clubhouse team can expect clear communication, individualized goals written in everyday language, and a collaborative approach that treats parents as partners. Care is available in-home and via telehealth across Westlake Village and Ventura County, and progress is tracked and shared so you always know how your child is doing.
