Maybe your toddler is saying fewer words than you expected, and the pediatrician said it's worth a closer look. Or maybe your school-age child is struggling with handwriting, and the teacher has mentioned it twice now. Speech and occupational therapy in Hidden Hills can start at home. Our nearby clinic opens December 1, 2026. Therapy Clubhouse works only with children, from birth to 18. Each child sees a licensed speech or occupational therapist at home in Hidden Hills, at school, or on screen. No diagnosis or referral is needed. Hidden Hills parents can call us first.
Do you come into Hidden Hills for home visits?
Yes. We see children at home in Hidden Hills. With your written consent, we can also meet them at their public or private school, preschool, or daycare.
Hidden Hills became a city on October 19, 1961, the 73rd city in Los Angeles County. Its public schools are part of Las Virgenes Unified School District, whose boundaries take in Agoura Hills, Calabasas, and Westlake Village as well.
We also visit nearby Calabasas, Woodland Hills, and West Hills.
Request your free 15-minute consultation
Tell us what you are noticing about your child. A licensed therapist and our team read every message. Within one business day, our team calls to learn what you need and check insurance, then sets up a free call with Nita, Rachel or both. The consultation is free, lasts about 15 minutes, and carries no obligation. There is no waiting list. If you would rather talk now, call (805) 702-3427.
Hidden Hills: which school district, and which regional center?
Las Virgenes Unified runs the schools. The regional center question is less tidy. Both Westside Regional Center and the North Los Angeles County Regional Center list ZIP code 91302, so ask either one which covers your street.
Round Meadow Elementary, a Las Virgenes school on Round Meadow Road, sits inside Hidden Hills city limits, even though its mailing address says Calabasas.
Las Virgenes Unified is in Los Angeles County. Still, its special education page says it belongs to the Ventura County SELPA, the local plan area for special education. Your child's school can tell you how to request an assessment.
At Westside Regional Center, a family with a developmental concern starts with the Intake Department. That is true for a baby or toddler in Early Start and for an older child.
The city's library page points residents to nearby libraries, including LA County Library's Agoura Hills Library, which offers early learning programs, and says the city is developing a library of its own.
How do we begin speech and occupational therapy in Hidden Hills?
Call or write for a free 15-minute consultation. A licensed therapist hears what you are noticing. If an evaluation is worthwhile, it takes place within 3 business days of your free consultation.
A Hidden Hills evaluation can be done at home, at school, or by video. Before our clinic opens on December 1, it can also happen in a private Townsgate Road office, on request. The speech evaluation page and the OT evaluation page list each step. We send the written results within 14 business days, and a treatment plan too if therapy is recommended.
Which services come to Hidden Hills homes and schools?
All except social skills groups, which meet nearby in Westlake Village. Everything else can happen at your home or your child's school.
The rest comes to you. That includes handwriting help with an occupational therapist, speech therapy for stuttering, and sensory integration therapy in your home. Rachel Yashouafar, MA, OTR/L, is our occupational therapist, and Nita Anavim, M.S., CCC-SLP, is our speech-language pathologist; together they founded Therapy Clubhouse. Here is our full list of services.

How do Hidden Hills families pay?
Coverage depends on your plan. Village, our partner, accepts TRICARE and also PPO plans offered by several major insurers, with a per-visit Village fee as well.
Hidden Hills is in Los Angeles County, which our regional center partner, Tri-Counties Regional Center, does not cover. That leaves two paths, Village or paying out of pocket, and out-of-pocket payment comes with a superbill. Read insurance through Village, explained, and all payment options for the details.
What else do Hidden Hills parents want to ask?
Can we come to the clinic instead of a home visit?
Yes. The new clinic, on Townsgate Road in Westlake Village, opens December 1, 2026. Before that, you can ask about an evaluation in a private office we use on the same road.
Can you see my child at Round Meadow or another school?
Round Meadow or any other school can work, as long as you give written consent and the school agrees. We contact the staff, set a time, and confirm the room works. The same applies at private schools, preschools, and daycares.
Do you run social skills groups near Hidden Hills?
Yes, in Westlake Village. The groups are for ages 18 months to 18, with 2 to 8 children each, and no evaluation is needed to join.
“Young children learn best through nurturing relationships with their families and primary caregivers.”
On the CDC's milestone checklists, each skill is one that most children, 75 percent or more, are expected to have reached by that age.
When a worry about words, play, or schoolwork keeps nagging at you, that's worth a conversation. Let's talk about it.
